Our resident music writer, Michael Lewis, will be tackling the music festival of SXSW. As everyone knows, Michael has a voracious passion for music and he loves enlightening people to music he discovers. With thousands of bands at SXSW, I'm certain he will discover several bands that he would love to cram into his Ipod and advocate to the world. He's just that kind of guy. Check out Michael's column Whiskey Tune for his latest music recommendations. Carol McClendon is the co-editor and a writer for Quirkee.com. She has been enlightening all of us about her crazy world in her column Carol Standard Time. But did you know that Carol was also a film writer and programmer for AGLIFF, the Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival? Well, now you do. It is the place for creative web developers, designers, bloggers, wireless innovators and new media entrepreneurs to mingle and to show off their stuff. And Quirkee will be there too, showing off our... stuff. Quirkee is also participating in the 10th Annual SXSW Web Awards. This could be our moment to shine! I'm preparing my acceptance speech right now. First and foremost, all praise to God! And to my homies back in the ATX... Anyway, look for more news and coverage for South By Southwest 2007 right here on Quirkee.com in the coming months.
